This is a Desktop support position. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) desired. Strong scripting and Exchange skills a plus. 90% of the successful candidates time will be spent supporting end users Windows 2000 / 2003 and XP Professional desktop problems. 10% of your time will be spent supporting Windows 2000 / 2003 central servers and Cisco networking equipment. This position is for a person who has significant customer service skills, front office appearance; service oriented and enjoys working with a multitude of technologies specializing in Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) strongly desired
Strong scripting skills with Microsoft operating systems a plus
Knowledge of Cisco IOS and PIX OS a plus
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP required
Trustworthy, reliable, timely.
Must have own transportation.
Available during normal working hours (8 hours) between 0700 – 1800 M-F.
Must be available after hours and weekends as required
Comfortable working at various customer locations
Comfortable working alone
Able to work under senior personnel
Able to work under stress and under tight deadlines
Good customer service skills. Able to explain scenarios and solutions clearly and understandably to non-technical people.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Able to provide regular timely status reports and documentation
College degree a plus
Strong organizational and self-management skills
Demonstrates, timeliness, flexibility and initiative
