This position is for a full-time on-site (customer’s location) employee. The MS Report Developer will work closely with cross functional development teams and be responsible for the development of web-based reports, as well as designing and implementing data cubes, in addition to automating possible data feeds from disparate data sources. The MS Reports Developer will work with MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), MS SQL Server Analysis Server and SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS). The Report Developer will work closely with application architects to design and implement data cubes and related interfaces. The qualified person will be expected to enhance database development and deployment standards, and other database related areas as needed. This position will provide operational application development and re-architecture support for applications.

Duties

This position involves development of critically-required applications within MS SQL Server development, test, and production environments. The successful candidate will be able to design and develop web-based report applications, as well as third party applications. Requirements include two years of direct experience as a MS SQL Server Reports Developer. Strong knowledge and hands on experience with SSRS, SSAS and SSIS are desired. Knowledge of the SharePoint platform and services oriented architecture are also preferred. In addition, data modeling, query design and optimization, stored procedures with demonstrated relationship management skills Is preffered.. Promote/migrate SQL-Server objects from development to production instances. Ability to understand large data models quickly.

Work will be performed at customer’s site in central San Diego county (Balboa San Diego area) in a normal cubical office environment. Working hour’s onsite will be 0800 – 1700 Monday through Friday, with standard federal holidays

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years Microsoft SQL 2000 or 2005 SSRS, SSIS, SSAS experience
Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and realize value
Two years SharePoint experience
Trustworthy, reliable, timely.
Must be able to pass the Federal National Agency Checks and Inquiries background investigation
Available on site (San Diego) during normal working hours 0800 – 1700 M-F
Able to work under stress and under tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Able to provide regular timely status reports and documentation.
Performs other duties as required.

Additional Desired

B.S. in computer- related field
MCDBA preferred
Advanced XML experience and related Web Services technologies
Advance knowledge of TCP/IP in both Windows 2000 and Unix environments
Software development in a medical environment
CHCS / MUMPS database experience
